The Community Service department focuses its activities on helping those in need, both within the church and outside the church. The department organizes food distribution every first Wednesday of the month and every last Sunday of the month. The department's outreach does not stop at food distributions. They do give out Thanksgiving baskets and turkeys in the month of November for Thanksgiving, and for Christmas. In addition, they give out toys for kids, food and clothing to the community.

When Sis. Ahamba had a knee surgery back in 2016, she promised God once she could walk again, she would serve Him in the best of her ability. Now, even though the community service department is no walk in the park, Sis. Ahamba says she doesn’t get tired or weary doing this work. Her wish is that whoever takes over takes the department to the next level, doing it bigger and better and reaching out to our community. It’s not just about us, it’s about the community.
