Personal Ministries is a facet or a unique department of God’s church which endeavors to inspire, motivate, equip, train, and mobilize all members for dynamic Christian service and evangelism, with the conviction that “The church of Christ is organized for service and to win souls for God’s kingdom” (The Ministry of Healing, p. 148).

“Every son and daughter of God is naturally called to be a missionary; we are called to the service of God and our fellow men” (The Ministry of Healing, p. 395).

The Personal Ministries department at the United African SDA Church has been involved in active ministry to enhance the spirit of evangelism, togetherness, love and brotherhood, forgiveness, and unity in our church. Activities such as weekly Bible Study fellowship encourage cooperation in God’s worship and helps to strengthen our faith, helps us to build up resistance to temptation, and among other benefits, provides spiritual direction. Bible Studies are conducted mostly on Sabbath evenings via zoom, where challenging topics have been studied in detail.

The church’s impetus for ministry outreach stems from the Lord’s exemplary life in reaching out to others and in sharing the good news of His Father to sinners. Ministry or community outreach allows the church members to put Christian love into action in our local communities.
